I work from my office in Bury St. Edmunds and I have both daytime and evening appointments available. I work with adults, young people and children over the age of 7 using an integrative approach underpinned by the Human Toolbox Programme. I am happy to work systemically with families.
This powerful way of working with several members of the family concurrently both individually and together can be very helpful. Usually the first session would be with all family members who wish to participate. In this meeting we will talk about the problems and issues being faced within the family and from there we will decide how we will work with individual members and as a group. The aim is to help everyone feel heard, respected and valued.
There are certain times in our life when we reach a crossroads or a time of change when we need some help, support and guidance to find a way forward. This powerful combination of counselling, psycho-education and coaching can really help you move forward positively.
Parenting is probably one of the most difficult jobs we will ever encounter yet there is no formal training given Taking some sessions to help you either as a couple or as an individual can really help you to understand the vital developmental stages and tasks which will help you raise happy, healthy children … and stay sane yourself!
Why not travel through the Human Toolbox Programme with me on an 8 week journey of discovery. By the end of it you’ll know more about being Human than billions of others, and you’ll be able to share the powerful Human Tools with your friends and family. Each session lasts for 1 hour and we will tailor it specifically for you. There will be worksheets, resources and homework to complete each week, and at the end you will receive a Human Toolbox Graduation Certificate together with a personalised summary of the major learning point and goals.
I provide creative supervision for both counsellors and Human Toolbox Practitioners. Whether you choose to come to my office in Bury St Edmunds, or take supervision by skype, Counselling, particularly if you work in private practice, can be lonely and using your Supervision time to connect, reflect and restore is essential for your wellbeing and for meeting the BACP requirement for good ethical practice.
